Proboscis Paradise

Look closely! These “flowers” are made of single use plastic bags collected from across New England. They are processed using heat and sculpted to imitate native asters (a native
wildflower). Why is this called Proboscis Paradise? Well, a butterfly uses its proboscis (which is
a long sucking mouthpart) to sip nectar from flowers like asters. Don’t you think a meadow of flowers is a true proboscis paradise
