Death to sculpture, birth of poncho

I've always experimented. And it's led to gigantic failures. However, these ponchos are great and I wouldn't have made it without the large lichen inspired sculpture(s) breaking.

And when I say breaking, other people say just mend it. I just don't want to fight with it. If it wants to start sagging, I want to make it better and turn the sag into something better. It's trying to tell me that there is more potential than what I'm seeing. The material always tells me what to do. I can't fight with it - it is what it is.
