Commissioned by Boulder Public Library, Narrative Nectar is a site-responsive installation of flower sculptures developed in response to the library's gardens, pathways, and public gathering spaces. After walking the site and observing how people moved through the campus, the installation was positioned between a pollinator garden, an educational garden, and multiple library entrances, allowing the sculptures to be encountered from different directions throughout the day. Following the exhibition, one sculpture was acquired into the library's permanent collection.

Field Notes
Libraries collect more than books.
A site tells you where the work wants to go, if you spend enough time listening.
The installation became another way to arrive.
One sculpture stayed.
The conversation continues.
A child stopped walking when she saw the flowers.
During my artist talk, the final question was:
"How often do you have to water them?"
We had burgers after.
