A bubble escapes.
Then another.
A line moves beyond the window.

Float On extended outward from a studio window on Whalley Avenue, carrying a procession of transparent spheres over a nearby bus stop and toward a tree. Suspended above the sidewalk, the forms interrupted the familiar streetscape, introducing a sense of lightness and quiet surprise into an everyday public setting. Exposed to the elements, the spheres caught changing light and accumulated snow, allowing the surrounding environment to become part of the work.
